I think it looks amazing in motion--especially parts like the rooftop chase (28:00 in the longplay) or the approach to the mansion (31:15) or the battle against the god atop the pyramid (01:04:01)--but yeah, the screenshots aren't that different from a game from 35 years ago other than being in 1080p.

I did the same thing with Another World. I've seen multiple longplays of the game, but I've never gotten further than the first time the protagonist is captured. It's a foundational game and it looks great, but I didn't find playing it that fun.
