I meant to comment much sooner on this, but I really enjoyed this review and am delighted that you played the Super Mario All-Stars version. I admit that SMB 3 is my favorite game of all time, but occasionally I have fun revisiting "our" version of 2. I have only ever beat The Lost Levels once, and despite trying again many times....looks like once is all I will ever beat it!
