it's been awhile since i've played through hw and it took me a long time as i'm a very casual player so i appreciate your breakdown. i'm still hurt by the loss of haurchefant and everytime i log in i go into my fc room and stare at his picture and do the the cry emote, haha. it wasn't until eisteinien becomes corrupted by the eye and you have to save him from nidhogg that i got really into the story. learning of the betrayal of the ishgardians really threw me and i couldn't wait to see how things would play out. i never finished ff vi so the references went over my head. it's still one of my favorite ff titles tho.
