Yyyeah, I agree with a lot of your thoughts. I feel like in the post-5e/post-Critical Role world we've ended up in a situation where the majority of articles critiquing D&D are like 10% actual critique and 90% 'I wish everyone was playing a different, better game' which is ... not really conducive to Discussions About D&D, unfortunately.
