A reason for my silence

So, I used to post almost once (or more) a day, and now it's about once a week or so. However, I think I have a good reason for that. While listening to someone whining about their misery is annoying, listening to someone brag about their happiness is far more annoying.

So, a poll:
[Poll #726406][Poll #726406]

I'm going to assume those are the only two choices, because obviously if I including something like "Harry Potter" as a third choice, everyone would vote for that (and I don't blame you) and the poll would be meaningless :-p

Oh, and ACEN was awesome. I got to dress up (pictures forthcoming), dance, wander around, learn how to play Go from a ridiculously absent-minded old man, and learn about exciting websites like Guro-Chan (Note: if you value your eyesight and your very sanity, for the love of God, do not click on that link). And I'm going to Otakon in August!

End of line.

You were down in the gaming room? When? I was on gaming staff and was in the TTG room pretty much all weekend XD

You should have come over and said hi :P I was in there pretty much all day Friday and Saturday, I think beyond sleep I left the room for about 6 hours all weekend.

I am, however, glad to read whatever you post, be it dark or light or whatever your heart desires. I long for lots of posts on LJ to waste away my life always refreshing and reading new information and rants! (Not really, but I do enjoy keeping up on people's lives however they like to share and a mixed bag is generally more realistic so I like that best.)

I picked the answer I did because you seem to be more happy than sad these days. If you seemed to be more sad, I'd vote to hear the whining more. Since I have to pick one.

I always assumed that when you posted, you were doing a little bit of both ;-)

However, I am overjoyed whenever I hear anything, so please keep it up. I revel in your misery just as much as I live vicariously through your triumphs.

i chose "misery" to be contrary :-p

everyone else had already picked the other option

ahhhhh!

but there should be a third option...

"if you poast it, they will come"

for those of us who will read the poast regardless :)
