It might have been someone who made an eBay account with a fake name and e-mail to spam the prices up.

There was some guy (whose account has now been deleted) that went and bid $15,000 on all the PS3s listed a couple days ago, just to be ridiculous.

Obviously this guy has a better sense of hyperbole than he did. ;)

Hrmm, I saw a listing go for $15,100. I wonder if that was him, or if someone legitimately paid that?
