Date: 2019-Jul-14, Sunday 19:27 (UTC)My, that is a downpour not unlike the ones we have here.
Glad the stuffed companions were there to watch over you while you rested on the nightmare futon.
I have to admit, that beet juice drink at least LOOKS appealing. How does it taste?
I don’t tend to eat a lot of sushi in America, since after living in Japan
Somehow, this doesn't surprise me. I'm glad Sushi Train was to your liking. There is a place here called Kaizen Sushi that is run by a chef from Japan. He'll make you whatever you want. He's pricey, and he's only open certain hours on certain days, but he can totally afford to do this as his sushi is the best in the area.
That's a very interesting take on the Hulk, and one I hadn't heard before. And I had thought that Batman and Black Panther had similar social positions and suffered similar tragedies, but Black Panther's mother is still alive, and I imagine the expectations placed on T'Challa (as an heir apparent to a kingdom) were different than those placed on Bruce Wayne (expected to be a CEO, but there's quite a difference between being a CEO and being a king).
I am really glad that the panelist understood that Harley Quinn already had issues and that Joker simply magnified them for his own purposes. Harley having an abusive childhood must have been added in the comics continuity--she originated in Batman: The Animated Series where she was merely a psychiatrist with an unhealthy interest in the Joker.
Those Spike and Faye cosplayers are hot. I wish Spike had given Faye a chance in the series.
Honestly....I kind of agree with Lieder's sentiment on the New Testament.
The party room looks really cool!
Your friends are quite some characters. I enjoyed their commentary.
That Lone Wanderer is hot. Too bad I can't see whether he's sporting a wedding band or not ;)
I see the Scooby gang left Fred's dumb ass at home. Can't say I blame them; he can be a bit of a party pooper. Anyway, Daphne is really cute.
Love that Black Mage.
I am dying at the elderly couple's exchange.
That...ramen candy set...doesn't look particularly appetizing.
Chicken tenders and French fries? Now you're talkin' my kind of junk food.
It's odd to me that they would assume you are uptight just because of your religion. If anything, being religious hasn't stopped a lot of people from debauchery, and there are atheist people out there who can be just as uptight as religious ones.
Great group photo! For your friend in the kilt: did he go commando underneath? LMAO.
