Date: 2019-Jul-22, Monday 15:06 (UTC)I liked Azure Striker Gunvolt okay, with the caveat that it's anime as hell. And apparently they did all the Mega Man Zero games? But I haven't played any of those.
I loved Curse of the Moon because I've played all of those old Castlevanias (especially Castlevania III) so much that something new but in the same style was a nice change of pace. Now, I just need someone to make a game based on Castlevania II...
Are the stair controls better in this game?
Bloodstained is more like SotN and later Castlevanias than the earlier ones--movement isn't quite so measured, so stairs don't have any specific controls. You just run up and down them like any other part of the terrain. Miriam is a lot more mobile than Simon/Trevor were, the same way that Alucard (from SotN) is.
