Date: 2020-Jan-06, Monday 02:18 (UTC)This xmas we were gonna play Terraforming Mars (My roomie kickstarted some expansion and got that and the base game and basically AFAIK, every other expansion so... a lot). And yeah.
We never got around to it :( I think I should watch some vids and we should try again.
I recently got to play Spirits of the Wild (I think that's the name) a neat simple 2 player game that involves building sets of colored stones for points and a few special abilities that can be used to do things like put stones back, re-draw from the bag, etc... Super simple/easy to learn and a good gateway game.
Still wish I had the gumption to work on all the board game designs I was so focused on making back in the day.
