I'm pretty sure he's the worst president we've ever had, full stop. I mean, Buchanan's incompetence and dithering over slavery led to the Civil War, but he didn't constantly lie about slavery, try to personally profit off slavery, and then claim that a civil war lasting less than five years would be a victory.
