Laila is definitely aware and she knows how to use it. smart girl! i think it's wonderful that she has so much confidence and self love, it's important to always nurture that within her. but what a great start she's off to! as a woman, it makes me so excited to see another girl all about self love. i love it! i love how loved she is by all of you. it's perfect.
you're doing such a great job as parents... and it's very clear her grandparents are doing a wonderful job as well. ♥
isn't it funny? we spend so much time with them when they are awake - and admittedly some of it is WISHING they would get tired and nap or go to sleep.... only to turn around and miss them desperately when they do. A and i always tuck O in together. sometimes he misses out if he's working late... and when that happens he misses him so so much. one time i had to go by my parents' or something later at night, and i missed tucking him in, and it was the WORST. i just cannot handle it. hahaha. i know it's such a small thing, but i am glad you understand it doesn't FEEL small. it's definitely one of the "little things" that actually amount to something big.
you are such a good partner and dad, i can totally tell. it's so sweet! i am glad to see a dad raising his daughter in such a wonderful way!
