I find the idea of Lovecraftian horror fascinating, but I'm awful at handling horror so I wonder if I could even consume such a piece of media in a way it deserves.

I also find fics about exploring the setting fascinating & really into the worldbuilding of a piece of media. Granted, I'm part of the problem of hyper-fixation on romance (despite being basically aromantic lol). But still, I have a hard time enjoying character dynamics of there's nothing dramatic about the setting (OMORI is my one exception because [spoilers])
