mudousetsuna: (Sanji smoke break)

Holy shit that sounds so annoying! I had a similar experience tho not as bad with Petco. I bought a bunch of stuff for our cats over the holiday sales and it kicked me without creating an account and put the purchase receipt email to my paypal account's email, which is not where I wanted it to go, but whatever. But then I accidentally deleted the delivery notification so I was sitting around Monday (the projected deliver day) when it never came. I tried to track it down but I didn't have a login, started wondering why I couldn't track it thru the paypal confirmation or anything, and the website has a convoluted 'order tracking' confirmation where you have to enter: 1. your email 2. your order number 3. your last name 4. your zip it is delivered to.

My zip code was incorrect. It kept showing no order. I finally realized this by seeing in the email and was able to find out the order existed, but the tracking kept pushing delivery date back? So I call them and they were very confused about what I was talking about but we eventually hashed out I had deleted the email with the tracking, which took me back to the very same page as before... but apparently that means fedex is on track to bring it tomorrow (and 1/3 of it today). But 2 of the numbers say 'address corrected' and the one for today does NOT. I don't even know anymore. I hopefully will get my cat's food by the end of the week or I have to buy even MORE. lmao.

And calling fedex gives you a bot that sends you in circles. They literally will not let you talk to a human, nor correct shipping if you aren't the sender.

These companies are trying to push AI when they can't even work out basic customer service with the barebones of computer processing.
