Blood test genetic results back 👧

According to the blood test, sashagee and I are having a girl. We have a name picked out, but we're keeping that under our hats for now.

The next step is the anatomy scan, which she has to make an appointment for starting tomorrow (they were very specific about when she had to make the appointment for some reason) which will tell us whether all the organs are present and developing correctly. There hasn't been any reason for concern up to this point, so hopefully that remains the case!

The midwife also told sashagee that the baby moving around so much was a good thing and that if they ever stopped moving to call immediately, but that doesn't make it any easier on her. She's frequently said some variant of:

"The baby's beating me up!"

...and mentioning how it's impossible for her to get comfortable. I know that's going to get worse before it gets better, but hopefully it won't get too bad. Her first trimester was already bad enough.
