Just the foods, please

I don't have a ton of other stuff to talk about this week, so let me jump straight to dinner.

We've been trying to stop Laila from sucking on her fingers, so sashagee has been putting little mittens on her. She hates this, and she'll get into a loop where she brings her hands up to her face, tastes the cloth, and moves her hands away, all the while crying. I've been reading that you can't break any habits a baby has without a lot of tears, both from you and from the baby, but that doesn't make it any easier to endure! It'll just take a lot of hugs, I guess. That's how I deal with her crying before bed--I just hold her and let her cry, talking to her in a low even voice, until she calms down and falls asleep. Hugs cure a lot.

And speaking of which, she's twitching a lot. The sleeper awakes. The Sixth House is risen.
