Laila's language-learning experience

Poor Laila had the experience that so many language-learners had today. She ran up to me holding a dishtowel while I was preparing lunch and then the following conversation ensued:

Laila: holds up the dishtowel "How to do it‽"
Me: "How to do what, Laila?"
Laila: looks at the towel, then off to the side and lets out a heavy sigh
Me: "Do you not have the words to tell me what you want, Laila?"
Laila: another heavy sigh "No."

I tried to get it out of her, but she ran off. It wasn't cleaning, because she knows how to use a cloth for cleaning--just before this conversation she wiped it over the table while saying "Cleaning!" I still don't know what she wanted me to show her.

Did she want to learn to fold the towel, perhaps?

When I stopped washing dishes and turned around to give her my attention, she dropped the towel and ran away, so I'll never know.
