He'll have the advantage of incumbency then, fortunately. Hopefully he does well enough in the 8 months he has to make Oberweis lose election a fifth time.

That's if the IL GOP let's him run again. They've been saying that it was his abrasive personality that lost this election, so I kind of doubt they'll just up and LET him try again next time around.

Well, you're right. The other brother may run it, but Jim Oberweis owns it and is the current Chairman of the Board.

It's too bad, really. They do have good milk, but I refuse to pay anything to support him, especially after he's already been fined for using his dairy ads to promote his campaign in 2004.

I don't blame you for buying their milk/ice cream. The honeymoon suite had cookies and Oberweis milk and it was damn good. If the company were ever sold, I'd probably sign up for delivery.
